I love when a product makes me look more talented than I really am.  Crafting is not exactly my strong suit but I love the idea of making something “from the heart” instead of just buying something from the store. It not only has more meaning for you, but also the person receiving the gift.

Close To My Heart is dedicated to being an industry leader and innovator. With a rewarding business opportunity and revolutionary new products, and with founder and CEO Jeanette Lynton at the company’s helm, Close To My Heart has made many significant contributions to the scrapbooking and stamping industry. Jeanette’s leadership, spanning over 25 years in the industry, has made the company a premier resource for individuals who wish to enhance their artistic talents and pursue a successful business career.

Independent Consultant Michele Eickholt sent me a card making set complete with rubber stamp and acrylic block, paper collection and stamp pad – as well as the “Make It From Your Heart” magazine with patterns and blueprints to help you design your own beautiful cards, photo cards, and other crafty creations.  Since I am not a scrapbooker it left me yearning for the other beautiful embellishments as I flipped through the pages. And a Cricut is my new “must have” on my Christmas List.

I was impressed with the quality of the products – the paper was nice and thick and textured and withstood my un-professional cutting skills.  The ink pad was such a vibrant color but didnt make a mess like other ink pads I have used before.   It was a fun project and I even got the Little Divas involved in the action too.  Littlest Diva – now 6 – became the “Queen of the Stamper” – she was able to make it look much prettier than her mother. ;)

You can check out all of the Close To My Heart products and sets on Michele’s website - http://chelescrafts.ctmh.com/ – and then be sure to also check out her blog, Pinterest and YouTube channel for even more ideas!
