Party Plan Company: Paparazzi Accessories
Your Website URL: http://www.boldandsassyboutique.com
How long have you been with your current Party Plan Company?: 3+ years
Is this your first Party Plan Company? If not, tell us about what else you have done?: I was a Mary Kay consultant when I found Paparazzi. I walked away from a Nursing career to sell lipstick! Now I hustle $5 Jewelry haha!
What inspired you to get into the Home Party Plan Industry?: I know I will never make it in this world if I don’t work for myself and design my own life and paycheck. Direct Sales is the answer, where else can you top a hubs weekly paycheck in one party?? Seriously!
What kind of Corporate Jobs have you had? (or still currently have): Nursing Career for 15 years
What have been some of your major challenges with your Party Plan Company?: Getting team members to believe enough in themselves to push a little harder and reach a little further towards their goals. It’s painful to see people quit themselves to go back to normalcy and mediocrity.
What have been some of your major successes with your Party Plan Company?: One of the fastest growing teams and within the top 5% company-wide. Reached the rank of Producer in 8 months and earned our prestigious Crown 10 Club Trophy on stage at convention. Recognized as an up and coming leader and rewarded like a queen!
Describe your typical day right now.: Wake up, be with the fur babies and catch up on FB news, check emails, sm and so on. Begin working on the pre-determined tasks for the day and typically get pulled in a millions directions from the pups, to kiddos to team members and of course the hubs needs me to see something haha! I get a lot done, but it could be so much better with a little more “order”
Describe what the “perfect” day would look like for you.: Wake up on the beach… eat, drink and fall asleep on the beach.
On those “not so great” days, what is your motivation to keep going with your Party Plan Business?: I haven’t reached “this” rank yet. I haven’t earned that trip yet and I don’t live in my home we built yet.
I look at my team and assist them because they need that someone who believes in them and guides them with actions and results. I show up weekly for them, because “she” hasn’t hit director yet, or “she” is so close to this level. I don’t quit them, because I expect them to not quit me. Never mind quiting yourself, it’s hard to leave someone else.
What is one piece of advice you would give a brand new Party Plan Consultant?: STAY EXCITED!! (and write everything down!)
What do you think the absolute BEST part of being a Party Plan Consultant is?: Make my own ours in my home and comfy clothes. I can write my own check and yes, I get paid according to my performance rather then punching a clock and relying on someone else to pay me what THEY think my time is worth. Settle goals and achieving them and inspiring others to do the same. The unsung reward is seeing your team succeed. THAT is worth all the late nights, the grouchy gals and pulling teeth. When she walks across stage for her accomplishments and you know that somewhere, your encouragement perhaps helped her to get there, that’s one of the BEST accomplished feelings EVER.
Anything else you want us to know?: This is the hardest I’ve ever worked in life, but it’s the easiest money I’ve ever made 😉 Keep going! The ONLY way to fail in this industry is to quit. Period.
